Mount La Leonera $120.000, 2 days

-Great view point for the Central Andes including Mt. Aconcagua.

We start in the morning and drive for 2 hours until we reach “La Parva” ski center, where we leave the car (2900m above sea level). We ascend for 4 hours, until we reach the “Cerro Pintor” where we set up camp. From here we will have an astonishing view of the Mount Plomo and the hanging glacier. We will still have time to hang around the camp, even to climb the Cerro Pintor(just a 15 min climb) and we go to sleep. Early in the morning we start the ascent, after 4 hours aprox. we will reach the summit of “La Leonera”, from this point we will have an impressive view of the central andes, including Mt. Aconcagua, Mt Plomo, Altar, the whole Santiago Valley and the “Cordillera de la Costa”. We still have to walk 5 hours more to the car and we reach Santiago in the evening.

Alternatively we can start the day before in the evening and sleep in the ski resort in order to get used to the altitude. In this case the total price will be $140.000 accommodation included.

Warm clothes are necessary, could be cold.

Glaciar y laguna del Morado, 2 Dias, $150.000/group

We start early in Santiago. After 3 hours driving trough the scenic Maipo valley mountain road we reach baños Morales, the last village. We take the Impressive Arenas Valley, which is a valley surrounded by rocky hills, here is where the trekking begins. It is a 3 hour moderate trek in a rugged terrain. Around 17:00 we are ready to set up our tents in the majestic Laguna del Morado with its ice floes and hanging glacier. We spend the night there. The next day after walking in the area for a couple of hours we are ready to go back to the car. From here it is possible to go either to Baños de Morales, cool spring water in a swimming Pool complex in the village, or Termas de Colina, very beautiful hot springs where unfortunately are some cabins which bother a bit the feeling of solitude. In the afternoon we are ready to go home.

It is possible to attempt some easy summits in the area in order to enjoy the impressive views of the central Andes, or to rock climb in the Arenas Valley boulders or to practice some ice climbing in the hanging glacier (require to rent extra equipment and some climbing experience) . This can be done in the second day in exchange of the hot spring or in a third day.

It is possible to extend the journey and make the other trip in the Cajon del Maipo area (Plomo Hot Springs) , ask for the new price.

We start from Santiago in the morning, if the group is interested in rock climbing we make a 3-4 hours stop in "Las Chilcas" before arriving at the park. Once in the northern sector of the park we are ready to start the trekking to "la Cortadera" trail which will allow us to enjoy the rich fauna, the 35 meter waterfall, and a "lookout". The next day we go by car to the southern area of the park in order to climb the "La Campana" summit. This is a 3-4 hours trek from the entrance. Alternatively (up to the group) it is possible to reach by car a bit less than half the climb. From the summit in a sunny and clear day it is possible to see from the port of Valparaiso to the Central Andes mountains including the impressive Aconcagua.

Termas del Plomo, 2 days $130.000/group

-Hot springs in the middle of the Andes

-Impressive turquois lake (embalse del yeso) surrounded by snowy mountains.

-3 hours drive from Santiago.

We start early in Santiago. After 2 hours driving
we spend some time in embalse del yeso lake area enjoying the moutain scenery. By late afternoon we proceed to the last 45 min by car, then we cross a small river and walk one kilometer to reach the hot springs. We spend the night there. In the morning we walk around the area and after dinner we are ready to go home.

It is also possible to attempt some easy summits in the area in order to enjoy the impressive views of the central Andes. This can be done in a tough second day or in a third day.

It is possible to extend the journey and make the other available trip in the Cajon del Maipo area (Glacier Lagoon) , ask for the new price
